Sweden —
Yesterday, Tuesday, the Swedish statistical authority SCB published new figures for their forecast for how much the cities will grow in population in the coming five years. At the top is Gothenburg, which will grow by over 16,000 inhabitants. For the capital Stockholm, that number is only 10,000. But being the city that will grow the most also places greater demands on the municipality, says Christina Heikel, who is responsible for urban development at the West Swedish Chamber of Commerce.
