Denmark — NCC is divesting the Frederiks Plads Company House office project in central Aarhus to Pension Danmark for approximately MSEK 240 (EUR 23M).

Finland — NCC has been selected to renovate an office into a hotel at the main railway station in Helsinki, Finland. The value of the project is about MSEK 740 (EUR 72.5M) and the customer is the real estate investment company Exilion.

Finland — NCC will build 70 homes for Elo in Vantaa.

Finland — NCC is selling its Fredriksberg office project in Helsinki for approximately MSEK 460 (EUR 44M) to Swiss Life Asset Managers.

Sweden — NCC is purchasing a property from ICA Fastigheter with approximately 50,000 square meters of development rights for offices, retail and a hotel. NCC has also signed 15-year leases for approximately 20,000 square meters.

Nordic — NCC will split its largest business area, NCC Building, into Building Sweden, led by Henrik Landelius, and Building Nordics, led by Klaus Kaae. The aim is to provide each unit with better conditions to achieve profitable growth.

Sweden — NCC is making changes to its Executive Management Group. Susanne Lithander is appointed as new CFO. Ylva Lageson returns to NCC as Head of Operational Development and IT and will become a member of the Executive Management Group.

Denmark — Danica Pension and NCC have entered into an agreement to build 50 apartments in an attractive location in Hellerup, just north of Copenhagen.

Sweden — NCC is to build a cultural district in Örebro that will include such amenities as a public library and a cultural school. The client is the municipal property company Örebroporten Fastigheter AB, and the project is a turnkey contract in partnering.

Denmark — NCC has been commissioned by the housing development company KONstruct to build 235 rental apartments for students and a café on Gøteborg Allé in Aarhus, Denmark. The investor is the Gøteborg Allé 7 ApS investment company.

Finland — NCC is to construct an office and retail complex next to Ratina shopping center in Tampere. The customer is Sponda Plc and the value of the project is approximately EUR 25M.

Finland — NCC is to renovate Linnanmaa University Campus in Oulu on behalf of the University of Finland. The renovation is part of the Cooperative Campus 2020 project to create premises for the University of Oulu. The order amounts to approximately EUR 33M.

Sweden — In partnership with Liseberg, NCC will extend the largest amusement park in the Nordic region. The assignment includes a water park, a themed destination hotel and parking facilities in the city centre of Gothenburg. Liseberg, through the Liseberg Skår development company, has budgeted the assignment at approximately EUR 194M.

Sweden — NCC has been commissioned by Svenska Bostäder to build 172 rental apartments in Tensta.

Norway — NCC is divesting an office project in Lysaker outside Oslo in Norway, to Arctic Securities. The transaction is being conducted as a sale of the company with an underlying property value of approximately EUR 31M.

Sweden — Citycon is to acquire NCC’s 50 percent share of Mölndal Galleria for a purchase consideration based on a property value corresponding to EUR 56M.

Sweden — NCC launches Loop Industries, a tech company focusing on scalable businesses in the construction industry. The company’s portfolio currently comprises Loop Rocks, Loop Rocks Express and Hauly, digital platforms for logistics, building materials and transport.

Sweden — Tomas Carlsson, who has been appointed as the new President and CEO of NCC, will assume the position on May 7th, nearly two months earlier than planned. Tomas Carlsson is currently employed at the listed architecture and engineering consultancy Sweco.

Sweden — NCC has signed an agreement with the Swedish Transport Administration for the assignment to construct Central Station, which is a significant phase of the West Link project in Gothenburg.

Denmark — NCC is to acquire the construction company Jakobsen & Blindkilde and will thereby gain a substantially stronger foothold primarily in Jutland but also in the rest of Denmark.

Finland — Niam has signed unconditional agreements to acquire Suurpelto Retail Center and Laajasalo Retail Center in Helsinki from NCC Property Development.
